Johnny Thompson
President/Sales Manager
Johnny has been using, testing, selling, supporting, and training others in GPS and GIS applications since 1992. His company, LandMark Spatial Solutions, works closely with Trimble Forestry, Haglof, Laser Technology, Handheld, Juniper Systems, ESRI, and other partners to provide GPS, GIS, forest inventory, forest measurement, stockpile measuring, load ticketing, and UAV solutions to over 1800 forestry, wildlife, logging, and environmental companies and agencies throughout the U.S. When Johnny is not busy helping his clients, he likes to read and encourage others from the Bible, ride horses, and spend time outside at his farm with his wife and 12 children.
Some of his favorite Bible verses are John 5:24, Psalms 1:1-3, and 1 Peter 2:2.

Darian Yawn
Tech Support Manager
Darian Yawn is the Technical Support Manager for LandMark Spatial Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of forest technology solutions. He specializes in GPS/Field Inventory hardware, software, and training. Darian received a BS in Forest Management from the Warnell School of Forest Resources at the University of Georgia in 1992. Before partnering with Johnny Thompson to form LandMark Spatial Solutions in 2009, Darian worked in sales and support roles at LandMark Systems. He also has 10 years prior experience in land management and procurement operations with International Paper and Union Camp Corporation. Darian and his wife Celese live in Warner Robins, GA, and are blessed with two wonderful children; Caroline and Brett. He is active in his local church and enjoys playing guitar, off-road motorcycle riding, and fishing.

Mark Books
Geospatial Services Manager
Mark is a Certified Forester of the geospatial variety and has applied these skills for over 25 years to research and forest management, including prescribed burning. He brings his experience to assist fellow foresters and natural resource managers in using geospatial technology to enhance their work. Further desiring to set up forestry and foresters for success, Mark has also been an executive volunteer in his role as President and Co-founder of the Esri Forestry Group since 2008. He is passionate about trees in both a professional sense and how they interweave into everyday life including faith. Mark and his wife live in Fredericksburg, VA, and are active in their local church as well as being avid motorcyclists. Mark received a B.S. in Forestry from both Northland College and Michigan Tech University. And he received an M.S. in Forestry (with an emphasis in Remote Sensing and GIS) from Michigan Tech University.

Steven Stuart
4Loads/CFX Sales and Support Manager
Steven Stuart is the 4Loads/CFX Sales and Support Manager for LandMark Spatial Solutions, LLC. He specializes in Trimble Forestry’s 4Loads – Load Ticketing System, CFExchange portal and CFBusiness settlement system. Steven is a second generation forester and received a BS in Forest Management from Mississippi State University in 2006. Before joining LandMark Spatial Solutions in 2016, Steven worked as a contract timber cruiser for 8 years. He also spent 2 years as a procurement forester for a small cross-tie mill in north MS. Steven and his wife live in Starkville, MS and are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child in March. He is active in his local church and enjoys hunting, fishing and shooting sports.
